1. A lengthy letter from Dortha (Lewis) Watson to Richard Jones states that she had always heard that Pearl married at a very young age the first time.
2. She was 25 when she married L. J. Brown and was still married to him in 1932.
3. Another cousin told her that they do not know the name of her first husband and that he possibly had died.
4. Confusion: She gave her maiden name on marriage license to L. J. Brown, but did not give her correct age. She was about 6 years older than L.J.
5. Dortha further sounds a bit surprised to have heard that Pearl was considered by some to be on the wild side in her early years. And even further surprised to hear that she had had 7 husbands, because as long as she can remember Pearl was not married.
6. Pearl was 45 at the time Dortha was born.
7. Dortha made mention that there is a Cypert reunion held each year in June in Marshall, Arkansas. Sounds like a good place to be one of these years.
