3. It is written that Katheran was a zealous minister. She was a beautiful Quaker maiden and became the pride of the settlement. Her boyfriend George was of the Church of England and desired to become a Quaker because of her. The Friends counseled for a delay and a year later, and under instruction, he finally became a Quaker. They had a long and happy life.
