2. She attended Arkansas Polytechnic College (now Arkansas Tech University) and Ouachita Baptist College (now Ouachita Baptist University).

4. She moved with her husband, Theodore, to Macomb, Illinois, in 1960 and was a 40 year member of the First Baptist Church there, where she held different offices and continued active in American Baptist Women's work.
5. Lavesta passed away at Heartland Health Care Center, Macomb, Illinois.
He was a U. S. Coast Guard Veteran of World War II, a member of theAmerican Legion and the First United Methodist Church, where he was amember of the P. K. Merrill Sunday School Class. He operated a servicestation with his daddy, Dealon Bartlett, for several years. He workedfor the U. S. Forestry Service for several years.
