1. Jay's Mom & Dad were going to move to Ventura [Area] California and asked Jay to drive them out. Jay was going with Ruth McLean so they got married as Jay did not want to go without Ruth.
2. In about 1-1/2 years Jay and Ruth moved bck to Iowa.
