Services for William E. Hayes, 71, of 1623 S. Everest, are tentatively set for 1 p.m. Friday at Jefferson Heights Baptist Church with burial in Sunny Lane Cemetery directed by Hunter Funeral Home. He died Tuesday at a city nursing home.
Hayes was born in Arkansas and moved to Garvin County as a child and to Oklahoma City in 1944 from Pauls Valley. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Jefferson Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, William 2436 SW 76; Wayne, 4109 S Lee, and Daniel, Berlin, Germany; three daughters, Mrs. Bobbie Hood, 29 41 SW 55; a brother, Forrest, Konawa, and three sisters, Mrs. Mable Webb, Elk City; Mrs. Jo Zinn, 616 SW 34, and Mrs. Pearl McCoy, Lawton.
