2. After his Navy stint he took up his old business of bottling soft drinks.

3. He later started work in the Agriculture Department of the U. S. Government.

4. He retired and developed a Purebred Angus Farm at Hendersonville, Sumner, Tennessee about a mile out of Nashville.
