1. Birth name was Willie Leroy Needham. He was adopted in 1938 by John Hardie Burnett & Cleo Roberta Abbott and his name was changed to James L. Burnett

3. Military Service: Between 1961 - 1964, served in the 24th Division Long Range Recon Patrol, Crypto Top Secret Clearance.
Served under Capt. Joseph W. Stilwell etal.


Daniel Wayne BURNETT

1. Daniel was TWIN to Samuel.

2. Cause of death: Under developed bronchial tubes.

1. Tina played volleyball, basketball, and ran track....as an 8th grader she won 2nd at the State Track Meet in the high jump for Class "A" highschools. Her jump was 5' 2" in 2001.

2. Between 1999 - 2003, she was All Lea County, All District, All State Basketball, @ Tatum, New Mexico High School.


James Hardy BURNETT

1. Athlete: 1982, State Champion football @ Brownwood, Texas High School.


Samuel NEEDHAM

1. Samuel & Fannie lived at Rt. 2, Flatonia, Texas.

2. He was a farmer.

3. He lived 70 years, 2 months, & 11 days.


Le Roy "Sticks" NEEDHAM

1. The headstone was purchased by Blackie Hart, but, the name is spelled incorrectly as "Neeham".

2. Le Roy & Iris were never married.


Edward NEEDHAM

1. Edward died of Cerebral Hemorrhage.


Everett "Pete" Wade NEEDHAM

1. Pete was very fond of his mother's sister, Annie Viola (Richardson) Nite. He stayed with the family and worked for his uncle Ed. He loved his mother very much and saw that she was well cared for.

2. He lived in California for years, but his health failed and he was unable to work, so, he returned with his wife to La Grange, Fayette, Texas for four or five years before his death.


Violet Mae OWENS
