L. L. HERRIN

L. L. Herrin, 76, died at the home, 215 East Ninth, Saturday at 1:30; funeral announcement later by Smith Funeral Home.

He was married to Nora Golden at Tupelo in 1918; he came from Texas to Duncan, later moved to Tupelo, where he dug wells. He has lived in this area since; he retired three years ago.

Surving are the wife, Nora; daughters, Mrs. Edna Golden, Mrs. Iva Cantrell, Mrs. Rosie Jennings, Mrs. Asalee Pollack and Mrs. Mary Loyd of Ada, Mrs. Daisy Barnett, Mrs. Winnie Jetton of Oakland, Calif., Mrs. Alma Williams of Fairfield, Calif., Mrs. Avo Bottoms of Chickasha, Mrs. Christine Lackey of Lawton, Anna B. Herrin of Corpus Christi, Texas. Sons, Rubin of San Diego, Calif., Emmett of Salinas, California., Jim of Ada, Haley and C. L. of Oklahoma City, Jack of the U. S. Army, Ft. Hood, Texas; sisters Mrs. Maudie Denton of Molara, Texas, Mrs. Sallie Ford of Ada, brothers, Willie of eyona, Texas, Van of Mexin, Texas and Jess of Prague; grandchildren.
