Mrs. Sarah Jannie Lamb
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Jannie Lamb , 82, who died Tuesday of last week at the home of her daughter in Tulsa, OK., were held at Whiteville Church, with the Rev. Ben Few officiating. Burial was in the Whiteville Cemetery, with Roller Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Lamb was born in Baxter County 3 Feb 1871 and spent her entire life here until two years ago when she moved to the home of a daughter in Tulsa.
She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons: Elbert of Bowman, CA, Otto of Whittier, CA and Everett of Mountain Home; three daughters; Mrs. Virgie Dunbar, of Tulsa, OK, Mrs. Jewell Covington of Mountain Home and Mrs. Cuba Collins of Gainesville, MO; a brother, Dave Hand of Lindsey, OK; 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
