Edith Mae McMinn Allen, 76, of Dover, died Saturday, April 27, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.
She was born November 19, 1927, At Dillon to Levi A. and Rebecca Elizabeth Freeman McMinn.
She was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
She was preceded in death by her parents: her husband, Burl G. Allen; a son Wiley G. Allen; and a daughter, Wanda Jean Allen Mays.
Survivors indlude four sons, Burl D., Troy L., and Billy J. Allen all of Dover, and David W. Allen of Hector; three daughters, Linda Hampton, Brenda Lillard and Cathy Allen all of London; three brothers, Omer Dean and Billy Gary McMinn both of Dover, and Joe A. McMinn of Hector; a sister, Gracie Via of Dover; anbd several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Grove Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Jackie Pledger officiating. Burial will be in Pollard Cemetery at Dover by Shinn Funeral Service.
Pallbearers: Active - David W., Billy J., and Burl D. Allen, Danny McMinn, James W. Treadwell and Steve Hampton.
Honorary - Mrs. Allen's grandsons.Visitation will be 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
