Vernice McMinn
DARDANELLE: Vernice McMinn, 82, of Tulsa, Okla., Died Monday, Dec. 22, at her home.She was born in Omega communtiy in Yell County, daughter of the late Leonard and Ruie Walker Cannon, and a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George F. McMinn; and a brother Russell Cannon.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmie McMinn and Tim McMinn of Tulsa; three daughters, Freda Willis of Claremore, Okla., and Tammy Thomason Michelle McGehee of Tulsa; two sisters, Bobbie McAnulaty and June Taylor of Dardanelle; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ard Church of Christ by Johnny Paul Tahxton. Burial will be in Louvenia Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Service.
Pallbearers: Active - Terry Willis, Brad McGehee, Marcus McMinn, Shad McMinn, Shane McMinn, Scott Thomason, Joshua Thomason and Jason McMinn. Honorary - Timmothy McMinn, Kenneth Taylor, MacKenzie Taylor, Burl MaAnulty and Jackie Cannon.
The family will receive friends Friday at the funeral home.
