2. This writer had an excellent visit with Pokey & Odell in their home on May 28, 2004, and then again on the 30th and Retha was present.
1. Peggy reports that John moved to Missouri as a young boy. According to her information, he went to California in 1849, then returned to marry his sweetheart, Dulcena Bonee, in 1853 in Atchison County, MO.
1. One of John's last two wives committed suicide...do not know which one.
1. Peggy reports that her grandfather Hext, was just 10 months old when "Tina" died.
1. Joseph settled and lived most of his life in Owen County, Indiana, where his son Charles lived before he moved to Clark County, Illinois.
2. Joseph died in Missouri at the home of his daughter, Mary.
1. Margaret died at the residence of her son, Charles.
1. Charles was prominent enough to rate a biography in the Clark County history. It said that there were 10 or 12 children, of which Charles, John and a sister Mary in Misouri were the only ones still living.
1. John resided in Yolo, California.
1. George died as a young man, but, before he did he showed up in the court records of Owen County, where he died in a bar-room brawl.
1. Robert resided in Owen County, Indiana, inthe 1830's.
1. Mary married James and moved to Jackson County, Missouri.
