1. Based on deeds recored in Anson County, North Carolina, three of the earliest Kuykendalls were granted land on Kings Creek. Two of them sold their land before the Revolutionary War. John had not sold his land on Kings Creek.
1. The widow Rebecca (Harden) Kuykendall received a grant November 16, 1764 for 300 acres in Mecklenburg County on the waters of the South Fork of Fishing Creek beginning at the upper corner of John Kuykendalls land.
1. John went to Washington County, North Carolina (Now Tennessee) by 1782.
2. He witnessed the Will of Peter Kiykendall in 1783.
3. Last know record in 1796 in Logan County, Kentucky.
