1. Ambrose served in the War of 1812 as PVT.
1. David was referred to as the Weaver.
2. He came to America from Ireland and settled in Pennsylvania.
3. He was killed by Indians in 1758 along with his wife when attacked on his farm.
4. At lease two of the children [David & James] were captured by the Indians and held in North Caroilina for 18 months before they managed to escape. [Family legend has it that David waited until his little brother James as big & strong enough to make the long trip back to civilization] They made their way to Virginia from North Carolina. In 1785 theyu lived in Washington County, Tennessee. David moved to middle Tennessee....James moved with his family to Franklin County, Tennessee in 1810.
1. William refered to as the Immigrant.
2. He arrived with his family in Derry Twp abt 1720 & died there in 1739.
