1. SL was about the same age as this writer and we became "pretty good" friends.
2. SL dropped out of High School at Byng, Oklahoma and I don't think he ever finished up.
3. He got married at an early age to Margaret and they started a family.
4. SL was sort of a "hot rodder" with his '35 Ford.
5. He could "tickle the ivories" on a piano pretty well when he wanted to.
