6. He is an Electronic Mechanic at Tinker Airforce Base. When we (Earl & Richard) double/cousins get together we like to search out our heritage. Our families will know where they come from!
7. Richard's own bio: C-97 airplane ride to Etan, France in 1967, leaving the Portuguese island of Azores. After we gassed up, had a bite to eat, shopped a bit in the military store we took off for Etan, France. They were not going to let us take off until a light on the runway was replaced. The pilot, a Col. told them they had 15 minutes to replace the light or he was taking off. They made the light change and we were off. When we left McGuire AFB it was early morning, buy the time we got to Etan, France it was early morning of the next day. Twenty four hours of flying time from the U.S.A. at about 220 miles an hour to Etan, France. We had good weather...I remember looking down between the clouds to see the great Atlantic Ocean. The waves were breaking with white turnovers, we also saw a ship. The Etan base was where General Eisenhower had his headquarters during the second world war.
